FREE Boxing Basics Class (Saturday, February 22, 2020)
Young ladies ages 11 to 17 are invited to attend our FREE Boxing Basics class from 12:30pm to 2:30pm on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Title Boxing Club in Cary. This class will empower participants to build confidence and discover their strength all while learning to utilize the fundamentals of boxing.
We are committed to supporting the physical and mental health of young ladies in our community and boxing can serve to be very therapeutic for releasing frustration and aggression in a controlled and healthy environment. It is also a healthy means of encouraging youth to be self reliant, confident and stronger both mentally and physically when faced with challenges.
Registration is required and very limited for this event.

Become a NC General Assembly House Page this Summer
Students may apply for this four day long experience to observe firsthand how our laws are made. They will work in the House Chamber and participate in daily sessions and committee meetings. Duties would include delivering messages and materials within the legislative complex, answering phones in Representatives' offices and passing out documents or running errands in the House Chamber during daily sessions. This program helps teens ages 15-18 to develop their skills and prepare for future employment by spending the summer working for the City of Raleigh. Summer Ventures in Science and Mathematics (SVSM) at North Carolina Central University
Rising high school juniors and seniors or offered this challenging enrichment experience in science and mathematics. The four-week academic program is held during the Summer and students will reside in a residence hall at NCCU under the supervision of a full-time staff.
